HOW IT STARTED & HOW ITS GOING

I have been painting and creating art since I was about 7 years old. It wasn't until I started graduate school that I listened to my friends and loved ones and decided to start selling my custom art. In between studying, clinicals and work as a CNA at a hospital in Chicago, I would use my free time to put on some good music, design and paint custom shoe orders.

Everything I create is one of a kind and free handed. I feel the creative process with free hand, allows my art to flow without limitations.

 

It started with slip on canvas shoes and has grown! I especially enjoy finding vintage jackets and blazers that are eclectic and jump out at me. With each find, the jacket instantly brings a vision to my head that I then recreate using textile paint. Resulting in a one of a kind, upcycled, vintage piece, you didn't realize was missing from your wardrobe! As the one and only Craft Kween, I can create a design for you on just about any fabric or textile!
